How Earthworm Jim Could Benefit From An Internet Marketing Firm?

By Rob Sutter

Sometimes all a fictional character needs in order to be received positively is a good personality. There are some of us who don't want to deal with a saddened personality or troubled past because those are emotionally heavy. However, a funny personality can bring gamers up to more lighthearted mindset, which is especially necessary considering how many melodramatic characters exist today. In gaming, Earthworm Jim is that change and he needs an Internet marketing firm to help him rise in the ranks.

Earthworm Jim is as versatile a video game character as you can find. Not only is he armed with a gun to shoot at insane baddies but he can actually use his own body to bring down those very villains. With the use of his head like a whip, the literal earthworm can lash it forward to take down foes as well. It's clear that he can use his body as a superhero in a multitude of ways and I can only hope that he can highlight those features once he starts to regain the popularity he saw in the 90's.

There's also the idea of humor that Earthworm Jim possesses and he definitely has a lot to be confident about in that regard. His catchphrase of "groovy" and his many animations help to distinguish him from the likes of other gaming mascots which did not seem to garner that same amount of success in the end. Whether he's in a neutral stance doing nothing or spinning a gun around only for it to backfire in his face, there's no question that his personality shines through his words and, to a greater extent, his actions.

If Earthworm Jim wants to find popularity once more, I think it'd be in his best interest to look to an Internet marketing firm for assistance. This kind of company can help highlight the character's finest qualities, which are his versatility and sense of comedic relief. He already separates himself from the rest of the pack based on appearance alone and having more to his name will certainly help him out. If he looks to an agency like fishbat, for instance, I'm sure that the earthworm could gain ground again.

Those who have grown up with the likes of the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis most likely remember Earthworm Jim and it's that same group that wonders why he lost so much steam after that era passed. Even I'm not entirely sure why that is because it seemed like his outlandish character was made to be successful. I can only hope that he resurfaces in a surge of new titles one day. In my mind, it's not fair that a beloved character has to be left mostly forgotten.
