There are many different ways that women can stay healthy. As a woman it may be important to take the time that you need to understand how you can keep your body healthy for many years to come.

There are a lot of condiments that people eat because they do not realize that they are taking in a lot of calories when they eat them. You have to make sure that you take time to realize what food you are going to want to avoid in the condiment section.

There have been recent studies that have shown that although some women may have a normal body mass index, they may still carry excessive body fat. Taking time to understand what is going on with your body can make a difference in how you take care of yourself.

Take the time that you need to explain to your doctor what your health goals are. You have to make sure that you take the time that you need to understand how you will be wise about the way that you articulate what you want to accomplish.

Mustard is a great example of a condiment that you can eat without worrying about consuming an excessive amount of calories. This condiment has minimal calories and also has a minimal amount of sugar in it.

There are a lot of people that have a hard time understanding how they can be wise about the way that they eat ketchup and BBQ sauce. Because both of these condiments are low in calories people tend to slather them on their food.

Even if you have excess fat on your body be sure to keep a healthy attitude towards your body. Do not hate your body or get too frustrated with yourself but learn to love your body and try your hardest to stay healthy at the same time.

If you are eating a salad you have to be extra careful about the dressing that you are putting on your salad. Make sure that you understand how you are going to put the right dressing and the right amount of dressing on your salad.

Talking with your relatives about their health situations can be very informative. Taking time to write down a list of questions may be intimidating but if you simply talk with a doctor about what you should be asking you may be able to get a comprehensive list.

When you are doing this you have to understand that the butter and the salt will not be good for your body. Make sure that you take the time that you need to understand how you can be sure that you are going to cook the vegetables and ensure that they will still be healthy.

If you need to make your own salad dressing combine some olive oil, lemon juice and vinegar. A combination of these three ingredients can make a tasty and guilt-free dressing that you are able to use on your salad.

Whenever you have salad dressing you will want to be sure that it is on the side rather than beging on the salad itself. When the salad dressing is on the side you can dip your fork in the sauce and then get the salad on your fork.

Third, take time to assess your cancer risk. When you want to assess what your risk is you can go to The American Cancer Society's Great American Health Check to answer some questions about your personal health and the health of your family.

When you are putting condiments on your food you want to avoid mayonnaise like the plague. While you are eating mayonnaise you have to understand that you are packing a ton of calories into a tablespoon of mayonnaise.

After you answer the questions the American Cancer Society will provide you with a list of screenings that may be good for you to have done. Take this list seriously, if you are worried about cancer do not sit idly by.

Whether you want to keep a food journal for a month or a week, the same principles apply. You will want to write down everything that you have eaten throughout the day and take note of the portion size that you are consuming.

Make sure that you are wise about the condiments that you are eating when you are trying to lose weight and be healthy.

The more that you understand about the dressings and condiments you should eat the easier it will be to avoid those that are not good for you.
